- This lightweight helmet features a thermo-injected shell incorporating a special polymer blend enhanced by varying degrees of thickness that is engineered to deliver the optimal combination of impact protection and light weight. Lightweight outer shell is constructed from a technologically advanced impact resistant thermoplastic in three sizes (Youth Small, Youth Medium and Youth Large. The SM3 Youth weighs 1060g.
- The fit can be tailored to the rider’s head thanks to the helmet’s crown and cheek pads, which are available as genuine spare parts in different thicknesses.
- Youth Medium and Youth Large sizes share the same EPS size, which allows riders with an YM size to initially buy an YM helmet and then configure it to a Youth Large size as they grow via the crown and cheek pad spare parts.
- The Youth Small has a smaller EPS size and can be customized only via the cheek pads. Alpinestars extensive research has shown that the kids that wear a YS size are very small, typically 3 to 4 years old, and therefore they require a dedicated helmet fit.
- Multiple density inner liner ensures the helmet is equipped with the correct density in the correct area for enhanced impact absorption, while also helping reduce overall weight.
- The inner and outer surfaces are engineered to minimize the effects of oblique impacts.
- Alpinestars patented low friction coating is applied to the inner part of the main EPS liner to reduce the rotational acceleration forces that can result from certain oblique impacts. This layer essentially acts as a slip plane to mimic the brain’s own low friction cerebrospinal fluid, which is the body’s natural defense against oblique impacts.
- Patented visor release system ensures the visor is released with the correct pre-determined amount of force, effectively reducing the forces on the rider’s neck during an impact.
- Comfort liner is constructed using recycled materials for a lower carbon footprint.

- Alpinestars has introduced a new in-house standard for the SM3 Youth to test the helmet’s chin to conditions heavier than the homologation standard, and in order to pass the Alpinestars’ new standards, the shell thickness and the structure of the helmet design itself have both been optimized on the chin area for superior impact performance.
- Equipped with an Emergency Release System and removable cheek pads to permit the safe and easy removal of the cheek pads while the helmet is still on, while the 3D contoured foam ensures rider comfort.

We currently have one retail location in Saudi, which also serves as our HQ. It carries a curated selection of gear (in lots of sizes!) and accessories and we have had visitors from around the world come and visit. We operate multiple fulfillment centers to service online customers.
Alhawee.com currently ships from warehouses in Jiddah, and in some cases will ship items direct to you from a vendor. Orders are typically processed same day, and each item will show the expected time to process and ship out. Most items ship same or next day and are marked as such. Some items may take longer to ship out and they will be clearly marked as such. All items will show availability information both on the product page (once you select size/color) and on the shopping cart page. We have found one of the reasons customers have been so happy with us is that they get their stuff fast. You will typically receive a shipping notification email within 24 hours of your order shipping (note that an order may consist of multiple packages shipped from different locations in the country) which will include your tracking numbers. By logging in, you can also retrieve your tracking information and past order history. In some cases, one item will ship out before the rest of the order is ready to ship, or an order will be held so that the items can be consolidated into one shipment. When you place an order, an authorization is put on your card for the amount of your order. Your credit card is not actually charged, however, until your items actually ship and tracking information is available. There is one exception to this. For items marked as a "Pre-Order," we will charge your card for the full amount of the order upon order confirmation. The reason for this is because with pre-orders that can last for 1-3 months or more, by the time the product is ready to ship the credit card information may no longer be valid. By charging up front this is no longer an issue and we can ship orders as soon as they come available. If a Pre-Order needs to be canceled prior to product shipment, we will issue a 100% credit to the credit card.

Order status allows customers to see where in the order fulfillment process their orders currently stand. Orders can be modified or canceled only while their status is listed as "Order Received." Once an order has been marked as "Order Processed," it cannot be canceled or modified, as the order has been processed by our warehouse and is in the queue to be shipped out.
